Relevé Dance Company

Dance Company is a commitment from late August through June and consists of the following high quality programs available to children in first grade or above.

Performance Team

Grades: 1 and up | Class Length: 90 Minutes (Tap Team is 60 Minutes)

Teams will focus on a single style of dance (i.e. Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Tap, Jazz, or Lyrical) over the course of the year. The teams will practice for 90 minutes once a week and will perform once a month (five times a year) from January through June at various venues near Rootz Center. The Relevé Performance Team will accept all children that complete the audition process. Performance teams are a perfect platform for your dancer to find and explore their inner performer while they hone their technical skills.

Competition Team

Grades: 3 and up | Class Length: 120 Minutes

Teams will focus on a single style of dance (i.e. Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Tap, Jazz, or Lyrical). Competition teams are a serious commitment that allows the dancer to perfect their craft. The single- style teams will practice for two hours once per week, compete three times a year starting in February, and perform two to three times a year from January through June at various venues. It is strongly recommended that each competition dancer enroll in a technique class each session. Due to the competitive nature, the Competition Program will not accept all children that audition. All auditionees will be eligible to participate on the Performance Teams.

CORE dancers will compete three times a year starting in February and will perform two to three times a year from January through June at various venues. Due to the competitive nature, the CORE Program will not accept all children that audition.  All auditionees will be eligible to participate on the Performance Teams.
