Recital Classes

All Ages Dance - Combination Classes

Recital classes run from September through June. Each recital class works on a dance routine which will be presented in costume at our end of year recital.

Recital classes are billed in monthly installments, the first upon registration and then 8 monthly installments beginning in October.

Ballet/Hip Hop

Ages: Grades K - 2 | Class Length: 60 Minutes

Ballet, Hip Hop

This combination class introduces students to ballet techniques for young minds and Hip Hop concepts with a focus on musicality, flexibility, and coordination skills. We have found that this “combination” technique helps to keep our dancers excited, engaged, and focused for the entire 60-minute class.

Ballet/Jazz

Ages: 3.5 years - Grade 3 | Class Length: 60 Minutes

Ballet, Jazz

Ballet/Jazz is a combination class where ballerinas work on their technical skills each week for 30 minutes and we focus on learning proper terminology, coordination, and turnout and arm positions. Then we change into our Jazz/Gym shoes and learn contemporary moves set to popular music!

Hip Hop/Poms

Ages: All Ages | Class Length: 60 Minutes

Hip Hop, Poms

Combination classes are developed to allow students the opportunity to begin study in both disciplines and create an early foundation in which to build upon. In Hip Hop/Poms, students will learn movements that have elements of poppin’, locking, and breaking, as well as freestyle movement to give students the opportunity to develop their own sense of style. Dancers will learn proper technique and movement during this exciting combination class with an emphasis on FUN! This combination class will include one Hip Hop dance and one Poms dance each session.

Tutus & Tennis Shoes

Ages: 3.5 – 4.5 and 4 - 6 Years | Class Length: 60 Minutes

Young dancers learn a basic introduction to ballet technique as well as freestyle Hip-Hop to give students the opportunity to develop their own sense of style. This combination is an age specific, 60- minute class.  Thirty minutes each of ballet and hip hop give the dancers a terrific base and fantastic exposure to various types of dance.  We have found that this “combination” technique helps to keep our dancers excited, engaged and focused for the entire 60  minutes.

Ages: All Ages | Class Length: 60 Minutes

Combination classes are developed to allow students the opportunity to begin study in both disciplines and create an early foundation in which to build upon. The tap portion provides fast footwork and rhythm through sound. Dancers will learn proper technique, terminology, and movement performed to classic and contemporary music with an emphasis on FUN!

Ballet/Tap: This class is designed to be a combination of ballet study and beginning tap sounds and movements, devoting half the time to each on a regular basis.

Ballet/Tap/Jazz

Ages: Grades K - 2 | Class Length: 90 Minutes

Combination classes are developed to allow students the opportunity to begin study in both disciplines and create an early foundation in which to build upon. The tap portion provides fast footwork and rhythm through sound. Dancers will learn proper technique, terminology, and movement performed to classic and contemporary music with an emphasis on FUN!

Ballet/Tap/Jazz: This class is for students expanding their skills at ballet, tap, and jazz. Ballet is the foundation for jazz dance and this class allows the children to see the roots and progression in the disciplines. It also allows the student to start their tap sounds and movements, devoting 1/one half hour at a time on each skill base.

Jazz Fusion

Ages: Grades 4 - 8 | Class Length: 60 Minutes

Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop

This upbeat class is a combination of Jazz and Hip Hop.  Dancers will concentrate on jazz technique, vocabulary and choreography while infusing a hip hop vibe.   Students will develop coordination, rhythm, flexibility and self expression in this fast-paced and fun class.
